How to Maintain a Healthy Lifestyle

Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is easy than most of us think, all we need to do is accept few changes in our daily routine and food habits and we can feel the difference of a “ALL is WELL” note.

Habits are the first and foremost thing, which affects one’s lifestyle, health always, relies on our day to day basis regular activities. Taking food late, excessive alcohol consumption, excessive smoking, no regular diet, taking high fat content, no exercise, are some of the habits which show lot of impact to our health.

Lets see quick tips which can make the quick change..

1. Keep a regular track of diet you taking for a week and slowly change it. Say if are overweight and want to reduce weight, calculate the calories you taking for every diet for one week and as per the new calculation start a diet table for the next week with low calorie food and same with underweight.

2. Avoid eating food late, in the recent times our lifestyle has became so mechanical that often we tend to forgo our regular food for some work. Try to avoid this as much as possible, take food as per regular diet you maintain, this will decrease digestion problems and will parallely increases .
3. Excessive alcohol consumption or excessive smoking is not only injurious to health but also disturbs the social and health life. Once in a while may be ok but excessive of this habit kills your appetite at the same time disturbs your relations with your partners at times. Maintaining a balance between your habits and at the same time caring your relations with your loved ones is more important.

4. Regularly check your Blood pressure, weight, BMI to ensure you are following a good diet and keeping yourself healthy. Take fresh fruits and vegetables as and whenever possible. Fresh salads, fruit juices are better then fried foods and fancy drinks

5. Spare atleast 10-15 minutes of your time on regular exercises or a normal warm up or atleast on walking. Morning or evening walks does keep your mind fresh as well burn those extra calories you earn with some of the foods.

6. Do not overdose yourself with medicine for every small thing you feel. I have seen so many people going for meds especially over the counter for every small thing happening with them.


7. Last thing I would say is keep your mind healthy and peaceful. Try doing some yoga or meditation for sometime to keep your brain relaxed. If you are healthy at mind it would definitely make you feel much healthier and stronger physically too. Whenever you get time, take a break from your routine work and enjoy the nature, travel, etc

These are the few things which can be given a thought and which can make an impact on your lifestyle…be relaxed….eat good….maintain good habits and you are healthy.
